Can I use the “Enter” key on the keyboard to navigate through data entry in Care 3000?
Answer
Absolutely!! By default, the “Tab” key navigates through data entry fields and “Enter” key will attempt to save the information entered into the fields. Users can edit the program preferences to allow the “Enter” key to be used for navigation. To do this, follow the steps below:
1. Click on Settings in the toolbar.
2. From the drop down menu, click on Preferences. The Preferences for “USER” will appear
3. There are nine different categories: Sign-On Security, Importing Farm Data, Farm Identification, Female Age, Data Entry Settings, Report Settings, Language, Date Formats, SPI & BVSP
4. Highlight Data Entry Settings
5. In the Navigation section, check the box in front of “Use the Enter Key to move to the next data entry field, placing a checkmark in the box”
6. Click on Apply
7. Click on OK
