I think our farm received a bad batch of semen. Can you suggest a few PigCHAMP reports that I can use to test this theory?
Answer
There are several reports in PigCHAMP that you can generate and use to analyze semen batch performance.

The first report to run is the Mating List, filtered for the semen batch ID that you think is bad. This will provide you with a list of all females that were bred with that particular semen batch.

Run any combination of the following reports to do further analysis. You can filter each one for the semen batch identity.
-Cohort Analysis (Services): Look at the Number of Services, Repeat Rate, Conception Rate, and Farrowing information
-Days to Service: Look at the Days to Effective Service histograms
-Farrowing Control Chart
-Open Sow List: Look at the sows that have aborted or been preg checked open or negative
-Performance Trend Analysis: Look at the Number of Services, Repeat Rate, and Conception Rate
-Repeat Service Analysis
-Reproductive Loss Report
-Service Performance Summary: Look at Solo Boar/Semen Batches, First Boar/Semen Batches, Service Week, Service Date, and Boar/Semen Genetics
