My computer (PigCHAMP Mobile Manager) won't recognize my mobile handheld device. Why not?
Answer
This could be one of several things. Below are some common things to try to resolve this issue:

1. Make sure the wireless card on the Mobile has been Enabled. Many people disable this when the Mobile is in the barn to save battery power.

2. Check that the IP address on the Mobile matches what is in the PigCHAMP Mobile Manager (Desktop). If the IP address on the Mobile has changed, update the Mobile Manager to reflect the new IP address.

3. Verify that the computer is still communicating with the router. To check if the computer is getting an IP address go to Start – Run, type in cmd and click OK. At the DOS prompt type in ipconfig and press Enter. The IP Address for the computer should be somewhat similar to the handheld. Example, if the handheld is connected and getting an IP address of 192.168.16.121, then the computer should be getting an IP of 192.168.16.X, where X will be different on all computers. If you have two devices on the same network with the EXACT SAME IP then you have an IP conflict and that needs to be resolved.

If you are still having problems contact PigCHAMP Technical Support.
