Listed below are a variety of customized reports that you can import into your PigCHAMP program. Please follow the below instructions to save (download) the file first to your computer's desktop, then travel if necessary to the computer with PigCHAMP installed, then import the .pcr file into your program.

1. Depending on what internet engine you use, you will either left or right-click on the customized report (.pcr file) - choose Save or Save As *** Some of the newest versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google's Chrome, etc. download the file first and then the user has the option to save or navigate to the downloads folder. *** 2. Save the file to your Desktop 3. If you need to travel to a secondary computer; copy and paste the .pcr files from your Desktop to a USB memory stick or flash drive 4. Open the PigCHAMP program > Sign in if not already done so 5. On the left hand side of the program, verify that both the Data Entry & Reports trees are closed by clicking on the minus (-) sign next to both. This will minimize the list for you and only display the words Data Entry and Reports. 6. Click on File > Import File > Import Report Settings 7. Locate the customized report (.pcr file) on your Desktop > Highlight the file > Click Open 8. Your customized report will now be listed below the defaulted Breeder Herd Census or BHC report.
Filter Notes: ~ Some of the reports will come with a preset filter; keep in mind that you can select the "No filter" option without having to rerun the report. ~ IF you wish to create a new filter based on the information presented in the columns, switch the pre-set filter to the "No filter" option before setting up the new filter.
Aborted Females.pcr ~ This report has a pre-set filter that will list out all the females currently in the herd (parity 1 or greater) that have had a recent Abortion event. It will include their ID, Genetics, parity, location, Service Date, Farrow Date, CW Date, Date of Negative event (in this case the abortion) and what the negative event is.
Arrival & Wean to 1st Service.pcr ~ This report provides the user with ALL females currently in the herd (sorted by Parity) what the number of days post arrival/complete wean event to their first service event. The last page of the report provides the user with the accumulated number of days per parity as well as an average.
Bred Gilt Vaccination List.pcr ~ Great report to use as a check sheet for those females that have been vaccinated; includes their current location as well as service date.
BVSP w Service Group.pcr & BVSP.pcr ~ Both the reports provide the user with an accumulated list of all females; includes current location, service/farrow/complete wean dates, avg. farrowing interval, avg. total born/liveborn, avg. liveborn per year, avg. total weaned, avg. total weaned per year, adjusted weaned weight, and BVSP. The 2nd report contains the females service group ID; this must be entered in at the time of mating in order for this information to be included on the report.
Farrowing Details w Piglet ID's.pcr ~ If you include a piglet(s) ID at the time of farrowing, this report will list the females ID, genetics, parity, FW date, TB, LB, SB, MM, and litter weight.
Farrowing Inventory.pcr ~ A pre-filtered report that lists ALL females currently on a lactating (farrowed) status; includes the females ID, genetics, parity, location, FW date, litter weight, liveborn, stillborn, mummified, fosters on/off, total piglet losses (deaths) and current status.
Female Arrivals by Parity & Genetics.pcr ~ A great report that displays each female's arrival date, genetics, parity, current location, and current service information including the boar ID, service & mating date, service week, service number (if this greater than 1, a repeat service event has been entered), operator, and an anticipated due to farrow date.
Female Repeat List.pcr ~ This is a pre-filtered report that lists ALL females currently in the herd with a service number of > 2 (repeat event). Includes female ID, genetics, parity, current location, current service information including date, boar ID, and final outcome.
Females X1 Service by 7 Days.pcr ~ This report has a pre-set filter to pull out those females whose days to 1st service are > 7; includes the females ID, genetics, current parity, recent location, last CW date, current service information including boar ID's, service & mating date, service number, service week, repeat interval and days to 1st service.
Herd Audit - Tattoo & Arrival Date.pcr ~ Included on this report is the females arrival date and tattoo number; has a optional filter to pull only those females currently displaying a tattoo number. Has genetics, service date, service week, service number, and due to farrow date columns listed on the report.
Herd Audit w Tattoo & Alt ID.pcr ~ Standard Breeder Herd Census report; includes tattoo and alternate ID columns.
Herd Inventory w FW & WN.pcr ~ Very in dept report that displays females production records - farrowing date, number liveborn piglets, and complete wean date for two parities prior to the current. Also includes a column for the user, data entriest, barn manager, etc. to make comments and/or notes about that particular female.
Is Marked for Cull.pcr ~ If you use the "Marked for Cull" data entry event, this report will pull all the females currently listed as a marked for cull. Great to use in the barn to pull out only those females that need to be loaded.
Herd Audit - Production Results & HNS.pcr ~ More or less, this report lists the current parity performance as well as a current heat observed or HNS date. Displays a lot of information, including the females genetics, parity, current location, HNS date, X1 Date, X2 Date, male ID used in breeding, service number, gestation length, FW date, liveborn, stillborn, mummies, total piglet deaths, fosters (+/-), complete weaning date, # piglets weaned, and a current HNS date. This report has lots of filtering options available to the user.
Lactation Length vs X1 Days of the Week.pcr ~ Comprehensive report that includes all active females; ability to filter out by the physical day of the week the service event occurred on. Includes the females service date, male ID's used in breeding, service day of week, service week, farrow date, negative date, actual negative event, gestation length, complete wean date, and lactation length. Negative Events: - Rx = Return to Service, where x = repeat number - AN = Natural Abortion - AI = Induced Abortion - HC = Heat Check or Heat Detected - PD- = Preg Checked Negative - PDO = Preg Checked Open - C = Culled/Sold - D = Died
Sow Averages.pcr - Basic Lifetime Averages ALL.pcr - Moderate Whole Herd Production - Detailed.pcr - Detailed ~ Great set of reports to see what your herd is averaging out across ALL Parities; includes the following columns ~ identity, genetics, parity, avg. FW index, avg. FW interval, avg. gestation length, avg. lactation length, avg. total born, avg. liveborn, avg. total weaned, sum total born, sum total liveborn, and sum total weaned. There are a variety of filtering options and combinations that can be applied to these reports.
Operator Performance w Female Status.pcr ~ If your farm records the operator/breeder ID at the time of mating/service events, this report is a great list to run within the PigCHAMP Reproductive program that you can see which operator has bred that female. Also displays the females current status.
Operator vs. Service Day of Week.pcr ~ Detailed report that provides the user with the females current parity, location, boar ID used in service event, current mating date, physical day of week the service event occurred on, service number, days to service interval, and the operator involved in the mating.
Sows Bred by 7 Days & OVER.pcr ~ Filterable list report that provides the user with the most recent service date, mating date, boar ID's, service group, and the number of days between last complete date or arrival date to first service.
Whole Herd SPI & BVSP.pcr ~ This pre-filtered report allows the user to see what each females current farrowing date (if applicable) as well as lifetime averages, in addition to their BVSP and SPI calculations. | |
